Dial-a-ride

If transport is an issue for you or the person you care for due to a health condition or disability, do you know about Dial-a-ride?

Dial-a-ride is a membership door-to-door service which is great for local journeys.

There are several automatic eligibility criteria, e.g. if you are already a Taxicard holder, are over 85, or if you receive certain benefits.

The service operates 7 days a week, 7am - 11pm for same day, next day and advance bookings.

You're best to book a day in advance and be flexible about your timings as journeys can be slower due to picking up and dropping other passengers.
