Free legal talks

M2M Community Solicitors LLP is a firm of solicitors. They are not local, but they are offering a number of free online talks on a range of useful topics.

Anyone is welcome to join and please feel free to share this information with anyone you feel will benefit from the talks. The talks last approximately one hour and there will be a questions and answers session about the subject area being discussed on that day. They do not record the talks and do not permit any users to record the talks.

You will need to register in advance for each talk the details of which are below:

Thursday 19th October 2023 at 11am – Lasting Powers of Attorney

This talk covers the formalities needed for Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and the different considerations through the applications based on different circumstances. Not everyone needs an LPA and this talk should identify the circumstances.

Friday 20th October 2023 at 11am – Court of Protection

This talk covers the circumstances of when a person needs deputyship and when they should not need it, especially in relation to Property and financial affairs. If it is needed, then the general process which needs to be followed.

Thursday 26th October 2023 at 11am – Wills

This talk covers the formalities needed for a valid Will and what needs to be considered so you do not need to keep re-doing your Will. Many people think that they know everything needed for a valid Will however, there are many issues which are not considered but will be covered in this talk.
