The NHS provide a search facility to find a dentist near you. Just enter your postcode and the search will provide you information, including when it was last updated, and details (where available) on when whether surgeries are signing up NHS patients.

You can also filter results depending on whether you need care for a child, or an adult who pays or is entitled to free treatment.
