Have you had experience of the South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG) CAMHS Neurodevelopmental service?
SWLSTG Mental Health NHS Trust is reviewing how to improve the experience for children and young people that are referred for a neurodevelopmental assessment (Autism and/or ADHD).
While demand for neurodevelopmental assessments is high, and wait times in turn are lengthy nationally, it is important to gather feedback from parent/Carers on their experience and what other types of support may have been helpful to meet their and their child’s needs sooner.
To gather this feedback, Sutton CAMHS is running two one-hour focus groups via MS Teams on November 12th, 5pm-6pm or November 14th, 10-11am. They are looking for parents/ Carers that have had a child or young person access the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Neurodevelopmental service to be involved. This is a paid opportunity, you will just need to sign up to the Involvement Register as part of this process.
If you would like to be involved in this opportunity or if you have any queries, please contact Aafreen Kutub, CAMHS Strategic Transformation Lead at Aafreen.kutub@swlstg.nhs.uk.
